Pho Mien Tay Vietnamese Restaurant Ltd. is a Vietnamese restaurant based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The restaurant specializes in authentic Vietnamese noodle dishes, offering traditional flavors in a fast, casual dining setting for local residents and visitors.

To improve the quality of our services and assist with our growing business, we are looking for a Permanent Full-time Restaurant Assistant Manager.

We offerC$37.00/hr (30-40hrs/wk) with 4% paid vacation.

Work Location: 550 Nelson St., Vancouver, BC V6B 1B4, Canada

Job Requirement:

  • Secondary (high) school completion.
  • Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is an asset.
  • 1-2 years of experience in the food service sector.
  • Certificate of Foodsafe and Serving It Right.

Job Duties:

  • Monitor staff performance and customer service quality
  • Assist in managing daily restaurant operations.
  • Assist in hiring, training, and supervising staff.
  • Help plan and implement service and operating procedures.
  • Control inventory, track sales, and assist with cost control.
  • Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety standards are met.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and support catering or special event arrangements.
