Permanent Position: Cleaning Supervisor
Number of Positions: 1
Wage Rate: $30.00 hourly for 40 hours per week
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent, Morning, Day, Evening, Shift, Weekend
Anticipated start date: As soon as possible
Benefits: 4% Vacation Pay, Health Care Plan
Work Location: 209 Island Hwy W, Parksville, British Columbia, V9P 0B1
Job Duties:
- Hire and train or arrange for training of cleaning staff.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities cleaning staff and janitors.
- Inspect facilities to ensure safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards are consistently maintained.
- Recommend or arrange for additional services required such as painting, repair work, renovations or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
- Assist cleaners in performing duties.
- Co-ordinate work activities with other departments.
- Prepare budgets, estimate operational costs, and maintain financial records.
- Collect payments for specialized cleaning services when required.
- Establish work schedules.
Requirements:
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Must be able to work effectively as part of a team and attention to detail.
Fluent in English
