We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive cybersecurity analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to security threats while helping strengthen our overall security posture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess physical and technical risks to data, software, and hardware, and recommend appropriate safeguards
• Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents in a timely manner
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
• Implement and maintain encryption protocols and key management practices to protect data at rest and in transit
• Analyze security logs and identify potential threats
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure system design and deployment
• Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures
• Provide recommendations to improve security infrastructure

Employment Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computing science, cybersecurity, or related field.
• Two years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or software development and protection, and related roles
• Knowledge of network security, threat detection, and risk assessment or management
• Experience with tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners
• Familiarity with frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001)
• Relevant certifications, e.g., Security+, CISSP, CEH, are an asset

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Full-time, permanent position
Location: Greater Toronto Area (GTA)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
