Position: Hotel Manager

Wage rate: $39.25 per hour, 32 to 40 hours per week.
Education: College/CEGEP
Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience.
Language: Good knowledge of English
Job Duties:
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the overall operations of the hotel to ensure efficient and profitable performance.
- Develop, implement, and monitor operational policies, procedures, and service standards in line with brand and company requirements.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food service departments.
- Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and evaluate staff; ensure proper staffing levels and high employee performance.
- Handle guest relations by addressing concerns, resolving complaints, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Monitor financial performance including budgeting, cost control, revenue management, and preparation of operational reports.
- Manage reservations, occupancy rates, and pricing strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, licensing, and local regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms, facilities, and services to maintain cleanliness, safety, and quality standards.
- Coordinate marketing initiatives, promotions, and group bookings to increase occupancy and business growth.
Working Conditions: Candidates should be physically fit, able to lift weight (50lbs). Should be punctual, reliable, self-motivated and able to work as a team.
