Warehouse Supervisor

Wage rate: $31.00/hour for 40 hours/week.

Benefits: 4% vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period. 

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: Minimum 1-2 years

Language: English.

Job Duties: 

• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the daily activities of warehouse staff involved in receiving, sorting, storing, and shipping recyclable materials.
• Oversee the safe receipt, inspection, and processing of returned beverage containers in accordance with company and environmental regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels of recyclable materials and ensure accurate record-keeping, reporting discrepancies when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety policies, environmental standards, and recycling regulations.
• Train staff on operational procedures, equipment usage, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
• Assign duties to workers, monitor performance, and provide guidance to maintain productivity and efficiency.
• Coordinate loading and unloading of materials and ensure proper storage and organization within the warehouse facility.
• Maintain and oversee warehouse equipment (e.g., balers, forklifts) and arrange for repairs or maintenance when required.
• Prepare reports on warehouse operations, inventory, and staff performance for management review.
