Job Title: junior estimator - construction

Salary: $31.25 / hour

Job Requirements
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Specific Skills: 

• Evaluate and prepare detailed cost estimates for labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractors across heavy civil and infrastructure projects.
• Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings to determine project scope and requirements.
• Conduct preliminary assessments and cost studies to support the economic feasibility of new construction initiatives. 
• Prepare and submit accurate estimate reports, bid documents, and quotation packages for client and internal review.
• Advise project teams on bidding strategies and procurement procedures to ensure compliance and competitiveness.    
• Review and analyze incoming tenders, providing recommendations for contract awards based on scope and value.
• Maintain a comprehensive database of qualified suppliers, subcontractors, and industry contacts for efficient sourcing.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, clients, and subcontractors to clarify design details and adjust estimates as needed.

 Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
