Specific Skills:
Plan, direct, and coordinate engineering projects. This involves setting timelines, deciding on budget allocations, and ensuring projects adhere to schedules and specifications.
Lead and manage a team of mechanical engineers and supporting staff. This includes hiring, training, and mentoring team members, as well as conducting performance reviews.
Supervise and contribute to the design of mechanical systems and components.
Ensure designs are efficient, viable, and in compliance with customer specifications and regulatory standards.
Address and resolve complex engineering issues that arise during project planning, development, and execution phases.
Implement and oversee quality control and assurance measures.
Ensure that engineering outputs meet both internal standards and external compliance requirements.
Oversee budgeting, scheduling, and other managerial aspects of project execution to ensure projects are completed within the allocated resources.
Ensure all engineering activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Participate in strategic planning with other senior leaders to improve operational processes and propose new projects aligned with business goals.
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Project
