Our head office is located in Coquitlam, BC, and we also operate an Interior branch in Kamloops, BC. We are currently hiring Roofer Helpers for our Coquitlam location to support our growing project demands in the Lower Mainland.

Salary: $25.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the loading and unloading of roofing materials for timely delivery to work areas.
• Support the roofing crew in removing old tiles/materials and replacing or repairing roofs.
• Remove damaged roof tiles, rubble, and debris to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Prepare work areas by sweeping and ensuring optimal conditions for new roofing materials.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment for efficiency and safety.
• Assist with setting up and dismantling scaffolding, ladders, and necessary equipment.
• Aid in measuring, cutting, and shaping roofing materials as required for projects.
• Assist with underlayment, insulation, and other roofing components.
• Assist in the installation of flashings, vents, and weatherproofing products.
• Apply adhesives, sealants, and caulks during roofing as needed.
• Perform minor repairs and adjustments to roofing equipment under supervision.
• Attend safety meetings and adhere to safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Assist in maintaining inventory levels of roofing materials and supplies.
• Support the cleanup and disposal of waste materials at the end of workdays or projects.
• Perform other general labor tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

• No prior experience necessary; will provide comprehensive training.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights.
• Flexibility to work variable hours and overtime as needed.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
