Dream Electric Ltd., located in Surrey, BC, has been providing complete electrical services to custom homes, townhouses, and commercial buildings with quality workmanship. We are currently looking for an Electrician to join our team in a permanent, full-time position.

Salary: $37.00 per hour 

 Number of positions: 1 
Start date: As soon as possible 
Work locations: The candidate will work at various locations Surrey, BC and other areas in Lower Mainland (BC) as per company’s contract with its clients and demand.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams, and electrical code specifications to plan wiring layouts.
• Install, examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, lighting fixtures and other electrical components.
• Pull wire through conduits and holes in walls and floors.

• Troubleshoot and isolate faults in electrical systems and remove and replace faulty components.
• Splice, join and connect wires to electrical fixtures and components.

• Comply with safety standards, safe operating procedures, and the observance of protective equipment requirements at all times.
• Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records.

Job Requirements: 

• Completion of secondary school.
• Completion of a recognized electrician apprenticeship program OR a minimum of 3 years of work experience in the trade.
• Ability to communicate in English.
