Aluminum Railing Installer - Residential and Commercial Installers and Servicers

Schedule: from 8am to 4h30 (35-40h/week)

$36.60 cad per hour

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Aluminum Railing Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining aluminum railings, guardrails, glass railing systems, fences, gates, and related products for residential and commercial projects.

Main Duties

• Read blueprints or work order specifications to determine layout and installation procedures
• Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations
• Install, repair and service aluminum railings, glass railings, fences, gates and other exterior prefabricated products using hand and power tools
• Load and unload materials, tools and equipment at job sites
• Assemble and secure railing components according to specifications and safety standards
• Ensure installations are level, properly aligned and securely fastened
• Inspect completed installations and perform adjustments or repairs when required
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
• Follow workplace safety procedures and company policies
• Clean and prepare work areas after installations

Employment Requirements

• Completion of secondary school is usually required
• Previous experience in railing installation, construction, carpentry, or a related field is an asset
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Ability to read measurements and construction drawings
• Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Valid driver’s licence may be required
