Job Description

Candidate will create detailed drawings per specifications provided by our engineers for R&D, fabrication, construction, manufacturing, and installation of projects. This requires technical drafting, 3d AutoCAD skill, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Create and revise detailed technical drawings in support of our product families and projects.
  • Prepare and revise engineering drawings, schematics, logic, and block diagrams.
  • Check documentation and acquire engineering sign-off.
  • Provide status & updates, discovering and bringing technical conflict issues to engineering attention.
  • Perform work on complex tasks and those requiring quick turnaround.
  • Meet with management to gather information for task, answer questions, or resolve issues.
  • Provide time estimate on design and drafting tasks.
  • Possess these skills and qualifications:
  1. Proficiency in CAD software such as 3d AutoCAD and similar platforms.
  2. Sound comprehension of technical drawings, specifications, and construction methods.
  3. Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work.
  4. Experience with 3D modeling software.
  5. Familiarity with building codes and regulations in BC, Canada, USA, and abroad.
  6. Experience with ERP software, bills of material and engineering masters

  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on project goal.
  • Able to work both independently and part of a team.
  • Adaptable to changing project requirements and timelines.

You will be working closely with engineers, and high-level technicians in 3D AutoCAD to ensure accuracy and compliance with company drafting protocol. Your work is crucial to convert design concepts successfully into technical drawings for project and product execution.
