 Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Specialized Care & Supervision: Provide attentive, specialized care and constant supervision for a child with disabilities in a private home setting, ensuring a safe and hazard-free environment.
  • Daily Living Assistance: Assist with specialized physical support for bathing, dressing, grooming, diaper changing, and maintaining personal hygiene, adapting methods to accommodate the child's disability.
  • Feeding & Nutrition: Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the child's specific dietary or feeding requirements, and provide direct assistance with feeding as required.
  • Mobility & Physical Support: Provide physical assistance with movement, transferring, and positioning to support the child’s physical comfort and mobility throughout the day.
  • Therapeutic & Developmental Activities: Implement and organize customized, age-appropriate educational, recreational, and therapeutic play activities designed to support the child’s cognitive and physical development.
  • Medication & Routine Care: Administer prescribed medications and follow specific bedside or routine healthcare routines under the direction of the parents or healthcare professionals.
  • Appointment Accompaniment: Accompany the child to medical appointments, physical therapy sessions, and outdoor developmental activities as required.
  • Routine Monitoring: Carefully monitor, log, and report changes in the child’s daily routines, physical health, behaviour, and sleeping/feeding schedules to the parents.
  • Specialized Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping duties strictly related to the child’s environment, including laundering specialized clothing/bedding, sanitizing play areas, and sterilizing toys, feeding equipment, or medical aids.
  • Emotional & Behavioural Support: Provide emotional support, comfort, and behavioural guidance tailored to the needs of a child with a disability to ensure their overall well-being.
