Job Description

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time


Anticipated Start Date: December 1, 2026

Location: Vancouver, BC (1 vacancy)

Education:  Completion of a Pharmacy Assistant college program

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): pharmacy assistant certificate

Experience:  Several months of on-the-job training

Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English

Products/Services: pharmaceutical and medical supplies

Responsibilities:

• Assess prescriptions for completeness
• Enter clients’ information and prescription details in databases
• Assist pharmacists and other pharmacy staff with preparing, packaging and labelling of pharmaceutical products
• Assist in maintaining inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products
• Process medical billing information
• Price and stock items on shelves.
