Job Description

CABINET MAKER

• Operate woodworking machines, such as power saws, jointers, mortisers and shapers, to cut, shape and form parts and components
• Prepare  custom-made cabinets that maximize storage
• Shape surfaces or edges of wood workpieces, using hand tools, such as planes, chisels, or wood files.
• Instruct apprentices
• Study plans specifications&drawings 
• Operate CADD &software systems
• Trim joints,fit parts  subassemblies to form unit& reinforce joints
• Sand wooden apply veneer, stain&polish to products; apply laminated plastics
• Maintain clean and safe work environment
• $25 PER HOUR 41 HOUR WEEK
