Job Description

JOB TITLE: Plumber

EMPLOYER: Delco Mechanical Systems LTD.

JOB DUTIES:

• • Interpret blueprints and drawings to determine the layout of plumbing, water supply, and drainage systems.
  • Identify and mark locations for pipe connections, fixtures, and openings in walls and floors.
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to install pipes and related fittings.
  • Install and connect pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
  • Coordinate and arrange personnel, tools, and equipment required for plumbing work.
  • Test plumbing systems for leaks using air and water pressure testing equipment.
  • Determine piping requirements and select appropriate pipe sizes for installations.
  • Supervise and assist other workers during plumbing projects.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required size and shape.

SALARY:
$37.00 per hour
40 hours per week
