Job Description

Mose Drywall Systems Ltd. is currently seeking three (3) reliable and hardworking Construction Labourers to join our growing team. We specialize in residential, commercial, and institutional drywall and construction projects throughout Ontario.

The successful candidates will support our construction operations by assisting skilled tradespeople, preparing job sites, handling materials, and ensuring projects are completed safely and efficiently.

Work Location: On-site (various construction project locations as required)

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: $38.09 per hour

Hours: 30–40 hours per week

Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The Construction Labourer will be responsible for:

• Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Assisting tradespeople with construction activities and site preparation.
• Operating mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position, or place equipment and materials (where trained and authorized).
• Erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
• Assisting with framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
• Assisting with demolition activities and removal of existing structures.
• Cleaning construction sites and piling salvaged materials.
• Removing rubble, debris, and waste materials from construction areas.
• Feeding and tending construction machinery and equipment.
• Directing traffic around construction sites when required.
• Maintaining a safe and organized work environment according to company and workplace safety standards.

Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school is an asset but not mandatory.
• Minimum 2 years to less than 3 years of construction labour experience.
• Experience working in residential, commercial, or institutional construction environments.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor and dusty environments.
• Ability to lift and handle loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• Strong manual dexterity and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel regularly to different construction project locations.
• Working at Heights training is considered an asset.

Equipment Experience:

Experience using construction equipment and tools such as:

• Air guns
• Augers
• Construction tools and equipment
