Job Description

Pacific Blueberry Farm Ltd is currently hiring full-time Farm Workers to support our
agricultural operations. We are seeking reliable, physically capable, and motivated
individuals who are willing to work in an outdoor farming environment and perform a wide
range of duties, including harvesting, crop maintenance, sorting, packing, and other
related farm tasks as required.

Job Description

• Plant, cultivate, irrigate, and maintain blueberry crops following farm procedures.
• Harvest ripe blueberries by hand while handling fruit carefully to prevent damage.
• Sort, grade, and pack harvested blueberries according to established quality standards.
• Monitor crops for signs of pests, diseases, weeds, or crop damage and report concerns to the supervisor.
• Assist with pruning, weeding, thinning, fertilizing, and other crop maintenance activities.
• Operate basic farm tools and equipment safely and assist with routine maintenance and cleaning.
• Load, unload, move, and stack harvested produce, bins, containers, and farm supplies.
• Prepare harvested blueberries for storage, transportation, or shipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of fields, work areas, equipment, and packing stations.
• Assist in operating, monitoring, and maintaining irrigation systems, including moving irrigation equipment and reporting any malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety procedures.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods.
• Perform other general farm duties as assigned by the supervisor to support daily farm operations.
