We are currently looking for a food services supervisor to join our team and provide our customers with the best experiences that live up to our high standards.

Duties:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen and food service staff, including cooks, kitchen helpers, and counter staff, during daily restaurant operations;

Assign daily tasks and monitor staff activities to ensure efficient food preparation and customer service;

Train employees on food preparation procedures, sanitation requirements, workplace safety practices, and company policies;

Assist with onboarding and orientation of new food service employees;

Ensure food quality, portion control, and service standards are maintained in accordance with company requirements;

Monitor inventory levels and requisition food, kitchen supplies, and ingredients as required;

Estimate daily ingredient requirements and coordinate food preparation needs with kitchen staff;

Maintain records related to stock usage, food wastage, supplies, and operational issues;

Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards;

Address routine customer service concerns and escalate complex issues to the upper management;

Assist with coordinating staff assignments and daily restaurant operations.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

- minimum 1 year of relevant experience

- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

- Spoken and written English language
