Job Title: Retail Butcher
Work Location: 104 Albert St., Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan, S0E 0Y0
Work Setting: Gas Station (with Convenience Store), Restaurant (Subway)
Wage & Benefits: $17.00 - $18.50/hr based on 30-36hrs/wk, 15 days paid vacation,
Overtime: overtime rate will be paid after 8hrs/day, or 40hrs/wk
Education: High School Diploma
Experience: Asset and training will be provided
Language: English
Main Duties:
- Cut, trim, and prepare different kinds of meat and poultry efficiently and/or according to the customer’s request.
- Operate meat equipment (such as meat saw, grinders, bowl cutter, boning knife, skewer, and twine).
- Maintain the highest standards related to sanitation, freshness, trim and cutting quality, etc.
- Ensure work areas and equipment are cleaned.
- Label products with essential information, such as name, weight, price, packaging and expiring date, etc.
- Keep track of inventory, record sales, and decide the quantity of products to be ordered.
- Ensure product freshness and customer needs are met.
