We are seeking a reliable and experienced Aluminum Railing Installer to joinour team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing,repairing, and maintaining aluminum railings, guardrails, glass railingsystems, fences, gates, and related products for residential and commercialprojects.
35h-40h/week$38.50/hour
Main Duties:
- Read blueprints or work order specifications to determine layout andinstallation procedures
- Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations
- Install, repair and service aluminum railings, glass railings, fences, gates andother exterior prefabricated products using hand and power tools
- Load and unload materials, tools and equipment at job sites
- Assemble and secure railing components according to specifications andsafety standards
- Ensure installations are level, properly aligned and securely fastenedInspect completed installations and perform adjustments or repairs whenrequired
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working conditionFollow workplace safety procedures and company policies
- Clean and prepare work areas after installations
Employment Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school is usually required
- Previous experience in railing installation, construction, carpentry, or arelated field is an asset
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Ability to read measurements and construction drawings
- Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and working outdoors in varyingweather conditionsValid driver’s licence may be required
