Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree, preferred fields of study include, but are not limited to:

• Accounting
• Finance, general

Experience

A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial supervision is required, with demonstrated responsibility for accounting processes and team oversight. Candidates currently pursuing their CPA designation are also welcome to apply.

Workplace Environment

This is a fully on-site position. Remote work is not available.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
• Plan, set up and administer accounting systems
• Supervise staff
• Train staff
• Arrange training for staff
• Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures and internal control
• Prepare reports and audit findings
• Prepare financial statements and reports
• Recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices
• Prepare income tax returns from accounting records
• Analyze financial documents and reports
• Examine accounting records
• Provide financial, business and tax advice
• Assist in the planning and execution of financial statement audits
• Variance analysis
• Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
• Oversee payroll administration
