Job Opportunity – Food Counter Attendant

Position: Food Counter Attendant
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Vacancies: 1
Wage: $18.25 per hour, 40 hours per week

Start Date: As soon as possible

Work Location: 1416 Island Hwy suite 140, Campbell River, BC, V9W 8C9

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers, take their orders accurately, and provide efficient customer service.
•  Portion, assemble, garnish, and package prepared food and other menu items for dine-in, take-out, delivery, and customer orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of counters, tables, food service areas, utensils, and equipment in accordance with food safety standards.
• Receive payments from customers and provide receipts.
• Stock refrigerators, counters, and storage areas with food and supplies.
• Monitor food and ingredient quantities and maintain records of food used.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding menu items, ingredients, and available options.

Employment Requirements

• No prior work experience is required; training will be provided.
• No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment and under pressure.
• Ability to remain standing for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including daytime, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
