CARPENTER HELPER

Permanent Position: Carpenter Helper.

Company: Best Choice Form Rental Ltd.

No. of Vacancies: 2

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Weekend, Day, Evening, Shift.

Wage Rate:  $26.00 per hr for 40 Hours per week.

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible.

Business Location: 286 Lone Oak Pl Langford, British Columbia V9B 0X3

Education: High School

Experience: No experience. Will train.

Languages: Basic Knowledge of English.

Main Duties:

• Load and unload construction material and move material to work site.
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ladders etc. required at construction site.
• Assist carpenter in construction activities.
• Assist carpenter to secure/unsecure special attachments to equipment and help in other activities.
• Assist in aligning wooden structures, mouldings and perform related activities.
• Level surface to fine grade specifications.
• Assist in demolishing wooden structures using prying bars and other tools. 
• Remove rubble and other debris at work sites.
• Tend or feed machines or equipment used in carpentry.
• Perform other activities at construction sites, as direct.
• Clean and pile salvaged materials. 

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Weight handling capability up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
