Salary: $37 hourly / 30 hours per Week
Overtime: 1.5 times gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Duties & Responsibilities :

• Review and analyze financial budgets to improve and maintain the restaurant’s profitability.
• Prepare and manage budgets for food, ingredients, beverages, kitchen equipment, and cleaning supplies.
• Assess and oversee the restaurant’s day-to-day operations to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Adjust food preparation procedures and menu pricing based on budgetary requirements and operating costs.
• Track restaurant revenues and expenses to assess and manage labour costs effectively.
• Monitor employees’ work performance to ensure operational and service standards are maintained.
• Coordinate and organize the restaurant’s daily activities and operational requirements.
• Recruit and select employees based on the restaurant’s staffing needs.
• Prepare and assign employee work schedules according to operational requirements.
• Direct and supervise restaurant staff during daily operations.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on workplace procedures, service standards, and job responsibilities.
• Determine the types of food and services to be provided and establish procedures for their effective delivery.
• Conduct employee performance evaluations and provide feedback on their work.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and arrangements with suppliers for food, beverages, and other required supplies.
• Discuss and negotiate catering services, private events, and facility-use arrangements with clients.
• Respond to customer complaints and concerns and take appropriate steps to resolve service issues.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Minimum requirement of completion of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• 1-2 years of experience in restaurant management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent English oral and written communication and customer service abilities.
• In-depth understanding of food safety regulations and kitchen operations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
