Wages: $45.00/hr for 40 hours per week
Job Type: Full-Time, year-round work
Work Location: Surrey, BC and across the Lower-Mainland region.

Job Description for the position of Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic at Amar Exteriors Ltd. is as:
- Inspect heavy construction equipment and machinery that is used in construction.
- Ensure proper performance of the machinery by implementing preventative & operational maintenance activities.
- Perform repair work on machinery and restore them to working order through component replacement and/or repair.
- Test repaired machinery for proper performance and to ensure that the work meets manufacturers' specifications.
- Clean and grease chassis and universal joints, wheel bearings, etc. as well as perform other routine maintenance work on equipment.
- Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine extent of repair required.
- Performs all work in a clean and safe manner in accordance with company’s safety procedures.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Skills and Experience requirement:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience is required.
- High School is required and a relevant education - diploma/certification, would be an asset.
- Basic knowledge of English language is required.
- Heavy lifting may be required; is physically demanding.
