Job Description

A well established Bakery in Cheticamp,NS is looking to hire 2 bakers, genuine hardworking indivisuals for their established business.

Employment-Full time and permanent.Candidate should be able to lift around 50 pounds on a regular basis and willing to work in a team envoirment.

Hours-35 to 44 hours//Week

Wage- 20-23C$/hour,to be negotiated

Overtime paid after 48 hours/week and it is 1.5 times the regular wage

Education-Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience-Experience is an assest,Employer willing to train hardworking individuals who are willing to learn.

Work Setting-Bakery

Job Duties-

• Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders
• Prepare pastry for special occasions, such as weddings and birthdays
• Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
• Bake mixed dough and batters
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
• Prepare special orders
• Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff
• Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods
• Train staff
• Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
• Operate machinery
• Organize and maintain inventory
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
