Hourly wage rate: $ 39.00 per hour (40 hours per week)
Overtime: $ 58.50 per hour after 40 hours of work per week
Work hours: 8 hours per day (40 hours per week)
Duration of employment: Three years (36 months)
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full‐Time
Remuneration: 4% vacation pay
Your job responsibilities are –
Managing the day-to-day activities of the shop and making sure everything runs smoothly.
Scheduling barbers and assigning their work based on customer appointments and business needs.
Hiring new staff when required and providing training and guidance to employees.
Monitoring staff performance and making sure customers receive good service.
Ordering barbering supplies, products and other shop materials and keeping track of inventory.
Handling customer questions, concerns and complaints and making sure issues are resolved properly.
Managing daily sales, expenses, payments and other basic financial activities of the business.
Setting prices and service standards and making decisions related to the operation of the shop.
Promoting the business through local advertising, social media and other marketing activities.
Maintaining a clean, organized and professional shop environment and ensuring employees follow health, safety and sanitation practices.
Coordinating appointments and managing the daily workflow to minimize waiting times for customers.
Purchasing, maintaining and arranging repairs for barbering equipment and other shop equipment.
Keeping business and employee records and handling administrative responsibilities related to the shop.
Making decisions regarding staffing, supplies, customer service and the general operation and growth of the business.
Job requirements-
Languages – English
Work Experience - Experience- 1 year to less than 2 years in Trade
Completion of secondary school is usually required
