HIRING: Assistant Manager (Full-time/Permanent) in Whistler, BC!
Employer: Singletrack Sushi Inc. o/a Whistler Samurai Sushi
Position: Assistant Manager
Position Available: 1
Employment Conditions:
- Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
- Working Location: 7011 Nesters Road, Whistler, BC V8E 0X1
- Working hours: 30~40 hours per week
- Compensation: $28~$34 per hour
Benefits:
- Extended Medical (including Dental) - after 3 months of probation period
- Free staff meal during working hours
- Subject to receive paid vacation and sick days as of BC Employment Standards
Job Duties:
- Maintain and supervise daily operations as set by manager/owner.
- Assist manager in building work schedules/sales planning considering the seasons, business trends and local events etc.
- Monitor staff performance and have coaching conversation, if needed.
- Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures in operations.
- Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
- Participate in managerial meetings with manager/owner.
- Maintain records of business documents such as licenses and invoices etc.
- Plan to hire and recruit staff.
Requirements:
- Language: English
- Completion of high school
- Minimum 3 years of experience in food or restaurant service including at least 1 year of supervisory experience
- Must be available to work at least one day on weekend and holidays considering the business trends and working schedule.
