Job Overview:
Delco Mechanical is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Plumber to join our team. The candidate will install, inspect, maintain, and repair piping networks, water supply systems, drainage layouts, and plumbing fixtures across job sites.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and building specifications to plan plumbing layouts and determine installation requirements.
Locate, measure, and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and plumbing fixtures in walls and floors.
Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings using hand and power tools.
Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required dimensions using manual and motorized equipment.
Assemble, join, and secure pipes and fittings using couplings, clamps, cement/adhesives, soldering, brazing, or welding.
Install, repair, and maintain domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and water supply and drainage systems.
Conduct pressure tests with air and water pressure gauges to detect system leaks and verify safe operation.
Troubleshoot system faults and carry out necessary maintenance and repairs on existing plumbing infrastructure.
Estimate material requirements and prepare basic job site cost summaries.
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 1 to less than 7 months

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
Must be capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling as required to complete assigned duties.
Ability to lift, carry, and handle heavy materials and equipment safely.
Own Tools and Equipment
Must have steel-toed safety boots and a hard hat for workplace safety.
