Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for finishing concrete surfaces, ensuring quality and precision in all aspects of the work. This role requires a strong understanding of concrete finishing techniques and the ability to work collaboratively with other construction professionals. The Concrete Finisher will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality results on various projects.
Duties
Finish surfaces of poured concrete, including floors, sidewalks, and walls, to ensure a smooth and even finish.
Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications to determine the layout and dimensions of the work.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for shaping, smoothing, and finishing concrete.
Operate heavy equipment as needed for concrete forming and placement tasks.
Perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required during the finishing process.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely project completion while adhering to safety standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that all tools and materials are stored properly.
Requirements
Proven experience in concrete finishing is essential; masonry experience is a plus.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely.
Ability to read blueprints accurately to execute project plans effectively.
Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and stand for long periods during shifts.
Experience with concrete forming techniques is preferred.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
