We are looking to add a full time Excavator Operator to our ever growing business! We are looking for a motivated individual who loves a challenge, problem solving and working as part of a team in a fast paced environment.
Duties will include:
-Proficient with power and hand tools
-Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions
-Mechanically inclined; ability to perform regular maintenance, fill equipment tanks, secure attachments, perform minor repairs and replace hydraulic hoses
-Attention to detail
-Ability to retain information and follow instructions
-Operate various pieces of equipment; mainly excavators but not limited to loaders, skid steers, graders and tractors.
-Noting and reporting deficiencies as needed
-Maintaining a time card and work orders
- Ability to perform work as per plans/specifications and adapt to site conditions as necessary.
Qualifications:
-Experience and/or training in heavy equipment
-Hard working
-Self motivated
-Ability to work independently and with others
-Attention to detail
-Dependable and punctual
-Ability to lift up to 23kg (50lb)
-First Aid/WHIMIS (training available)
-Valid Drivers License; must be insurable
