Overtime Rate: overtime rate of $ 48 per hour after 40 hours of work per week
Benefits: will be according to BC Employment Standard Act & 4% vacation pay, plus paid Statutory Holiday.
Little Rascals Preschool is looking for an Early Childhood Educator to work with us at our facility located at 3111 Stanley Ave, North Vancouver, BC, V7N 3W7. We are looking for someone who is a team player, able to manage multiple tasks in a timely manner, and, most importantly, understands children’s growth and development and enjoys working with them.
As an Early Childhood Educator, you will perform the following duties:
• Assist in the work activities of other early childhood educators
• Plan programs on working with children with other childhood educators
• Ensure a healthy and safe environment in which the children can interact
• Plan and implement programs in accordance with the curriculum
• Build feelings of security and trust in children, and monitor their daily activities
• Maintain a friendly relationship with children and their parents
• Observe children for any signs of emotional problems and learning disabilities
• Share information regarding the learning progress of children with parents and other educators
• Talk, sing, and read to children.
Job Requirements
Experience:
• 1 year to less than 2 years of work experience as an ECE.
