As part of our growing team, we are looking for vigilant and dedicated Mobile Patrol Security Guards who are ready to serve with excellence.
As a Mobile Patrol Security Guard, you will be responsible for conducting patrols of designated areas using company-provided vehicles. Your role is to ensure the safety and security of our clients’ properties through regular inspections, quick incident response, and detailed reporting.
Conduct scheduled and random mobile patrols of client sites, parking lots, buildings, and perimeters.
Monitor for signs of unauthorized entry, theft, vandalism, safety hazards, or suspicious activities.
Provide immediate on-site response to alarms, emergencies, or service requests.
Ensure gates, doors, and windows are properly secured during patrols.
Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and patrol logs using mobile devices or reports software.
Communicate with the central dispatch and other team members for coordination and updates.
Deter criminal activity through professional presence and proactive engagement.
Assist with access control, visitor management, and enforcement of site-specific rules.
Respond calmly and professionally in high-pressure situations, including medical or fire emergencies.
Represent Secure Shield Security with professionalism and integrity at all times.
Valid Ontario Security Guard License (Required)
Valid Ontario Class G Driver’s License with clean driving record (Required)
Minimum 1 year of experience in a security or law enforcement role (preferred)
Knowledge of security operations and safety practices
Excellent observational and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and report writing abilities
Ability to work independently and follow patrol schedules
Must be physically fit and able to conduct mobile and foot patrols in all weather conditions
Availability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
