Job Description

ZONE AUTO REPAIR LTD. is specialized in providing full service automotive repair and mechanic services for all makes and models of vehicles. Our staffs are experienced and certified mechanics they ensure that your vehicle gets the highest quality of repair and maintenance services. Currently we are looking for a “Car Mechanic” to join our team located in Abbotsford, BC Canada.

Position: Car Mechanic

NOC: 72410  

Terms of employment: Permanent / Full Time

Start Date: As soon as possible

Salary: $42/ hour 32 hrs/week

Language: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: Minimum 2 year to less than 3 years experience needed.

Location: 31060 Peardonville Rd Unit 104, Abbotsford BC, Canada V2T 6K5 

Main Duties

• Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required.
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.
• Keeping full knowledge of vehicle and perform safety checks before delivering the vehicle.
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications.
• Opening Job card, noting the issue and preparing job estimate.
• Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work.
• Service attachments and working tools.
• Verify and repair emission control systems.
• Perform routine maintenance on cars, SUV. Such as checking batteries and changing oil to ensure proper vehicle running.
• Ordering spare parts, and tracking transits.

Additional Skills:

Must have at least secondary school qualification, Candidate must be reliable and have a passion to work and accept all work related challenges, should have planning skills and to work under pressure.
