Job Description
“We are looking for a responsible, experienced, and caring individual to look after our two
Children aged 5” and 2” at our residence in AIRDRIE, AB T4B 4E6, Canada.
Designation: Child Caregiver
Vacancy: 1
Hours: Permanent/Full Time; 40 hr/Week
Language Requirement: English
Qualification: Secondary (High) School graduation certificate.
Experience: Not Mandatory
Month Wage: C$20/hr.
Location: AIRDRIE, AB T4B 4E6, Canada
Work Settings: Employers Home
Joining Date: As soon as possible
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times.
- Monitor children's activities and provide supervision during play, homework, and their activities.
- Bath, change diaper and prepare younger one for the day.
- Encourage educational activities and provide learning opportunities.
- Plan and supervise age-appropriate activities and outings.
- Encourage physical activities, playtime and creative pursuits.
- Help children develop good personal hygiene habits
- Foster a positive and nurturing environment.
- Offer emotional support and comfort to the children
- Administer medications if needed, following parents’ instructions.
- Provide regular updates to parents about the children's’ activities, behaviors, and any concerns
- Perform light housekeeping tasks relating to childcare, such as cleaning up after meals, tidying play area, and doing children's laundry.
- Assist with routines such as getting dressed, brushing teeth, and having meals.
- Prepare and serve meals and snacks, ensuring they are nutritious and appropriate for the children's age
- Maintain safe and healthy environment in the home.
- May need to pick or drop kid from school.
