Job duties?
- Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults integrity of circuits
- Troubleshoot and isolate faults
- Connect power to audio and visual equipment
- Install power generation, stand-by power generation and power conditioning systems
- Estimate costs and materials
- Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
- Commission systems and components
- Conduct voltage, resistance and other tests using electrical test equipment
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations
- Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records
- Install electrical distribution and transmission systems
Qualifications / Skills:
- 3-5 years proven working experience in relevant electrical work
- Ability to interpret technical diagrams, work with various tools and electronic test instruments, and follow instructions accurately.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve electrical malfunctions.
- Deep electrical system, power generation, blueprints, maintenance, and repair knowledge
- Physical stamina for lifting equipment, climbing ladders, and working in confined space
