Job Description

Aggresive Hunt is a leading recruitment firm specializing in electrical and mechanical systems for commercial, institutional, and residential projects across Canada. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Building Manager with a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation to lead and oversee electrical design, construction coordination, and building systems management.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the electrical engineering aspects of building projects from concept to completion.

  • Oversee design, specifications, and implementation of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, life safety, and building automation.

  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and technical teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

  • Review and stamp electrical drawings and documentation (P.Eng required).

  • Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.

  • Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with the Canadian Electrical Code and all applicable standards.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.

  • Support energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives in building design.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.

  • Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in a Canadian province (must be in good standing).

  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in building electrical design and management

  • Proficiency with design and modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, or similar).

  • Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills.

  • Experience working on commercial, institutional, or mixed-use building projects preferred.
