Job Duties
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the daily operations of the restaurant.
- Manage opening and closing procedures and ensure smooth restaurant operations during service hours.
- Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate restaurant staff.
- Recruit and onboard new employees as required for business operations.
- Monitor staff performance and ensure employees follow company procedures and service standards.
- Handle customer complaints, resolve service issues, and maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory levels and order food, beverages, packaging, and other restaurant supplies.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, delivery partners, and service providers.
- Review daily sales, cash handling, expenses, food costs, and labour costs.
- Implement procedures to control waste, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, health and safety, and workplace standards.
- Maintain records related to sales, inventory, employee schedules, payroll hours, and operating expenses.
- Develop and implement marketing, promotional, and customer service strategies to increase business.
- Ensure the restaurant maintains cleanliness, quality standards, and a professional workplace environment.
- Prepare reports for the owner regarding staffing, sales performance, inventory, and operational needs.
