Duties:
Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the purchasing activities of Purchasing department.
Develop and implement purchasing policies of an establishment.
Managing daily purchasing activities, supervising staff and allocating tasks.
Co ordinating with inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs.
Evaluate cost and quality of goods or services
ldentify vendors of materials, equipment or supplies.
Managing supplier relations and negotiating contracts and prices.
Interview and Training new employees and oversee training of staff.
Participate in the development of specifications for equipment, products or substitute materials.
