Landscaping Supervisor (NOC 8255)

Salary: $30.00 / hour

Job Duties:

• Hire, supervise and schedule staff,
• Plan and estimate labour and materials,
• Maintain work records and logs
• Plan and direct grounds maintenance,
• Organize and direct planting of trees, gardens and lawns,
• Organize and direct construction of fences, decks and walls,
• Plan, manage and supervise landscape construction work,
• Supervise nursery and greenhouse workers,
• Resolve work related problems,
• Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies,
• Establish work schedules and procedures

Job Requirements
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Ability to Supervise: 5-10 people
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, Combination of sitting, standing, walking
Work Site Environment: Outdoors
Personal Suitability: Team player
