Job Description

SANGAM SWEETS & CURRY EXPRESS INC. located In Mission, BC, Canada is looking for a Sweet Maker to join their team.

Position: Sweet Maker (NOC:6322)

Location: 32034 Lougheed Hwy.Mission, BC V2V 1A4

Vacancies: 1

Terms of employment: Permanent / Full Time

Wage: $25.00 per hour for 40 hours per week
Language: English

Start Date: As soon as possible

Education: Completion of Secondary School is an asset

Work Experience: 2-3 years experience of cooking (sweet making) required.

Job Duties:

• Prepare and cook individual sweet dishes like Gulab Jamun, Jalebi, Besan Laddoo, Rassgulla, Barfi, Moti choor ladoo, Halwa, Milk Cake, Gajerella etc.
• Ensure good quality and hygiene while prepration.
• Have the ability to train saff in preparation, cooking and handling of sweets.
• Stringently monitor and follow sanitation practices to ensure employees follow standards and regulations as per the standards set.
• Inspect supplies, equipment, or work areas to ensure conformance to established standards.
• Order or requisition food or other supplies needed to ensure efficient operation.
• Check the quantity and quality of received products.
• Determine how sweets should be presented and create decorative food displays.

Education: Completion of Secondary School is an asset.
