Title of Position: Security Guard Supervisor (NOC 6231)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Terms of Employment: Full Time and Permanent
Full Time: 40 hours/week
Wage: $16.50/hour
Job Duties:

• Establish work schedules and procedures and co-ordinate activities with other employees
• Supervise work allocation and activities of Security guards posted at various locations
• Provide training and suggest improvement in work for the guards
• Review work ethics and recommend promotions for guards
• Resolve work related problems and prepare and submit progress reports;
• Control access to establishments;
• Operate security control room equipment;
• Patrol assigned areas to guard against theft, vandalism and fire;
• Enforce regulations to maintain order and resolve conflicts
• Monitor establishment activities
• Ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed
• Prevent and detect shoplifting and theft in retail establishments

Education: College Diploma
Experience: One year experience as Security Guard Supervisor
